Unwavering dedication and a thirst for excellence of procedural dermatology are hallmarks of the legacy that Dr Nivana Ramlachan will be known for.
Dr Ramlachan obtained her MBChB in 1998. She embarked on a path of specialisation that saw her earn an FCDerm SA qualification in 2005. This revealed an interest in procedural dermatology, and dermatologic surgery which started in 2011.
In 2013 she decided to undertake the Hugh Greenways Annual Superficial Anatomy Cutaneous Surgery course in San Diego.
Dr Ramlachan is the recipient of the prestigious ASDS ITMP Fellowship. In addition, she is the first South African -trained Mohs Micrographic Surgery Fellow. And, as an executive member of SASDS, she shares her knowledge, experience and passion with aspiring dermatologists to nurture future generations of professional dermatologists.
